Peru: tesoro escondido

Anyone who has traveled a little in life knows that every journey has something unique to be told. Therefore today I will tell you a story that has never been told and never will be again, it is the story of a journey into a land of timeless charm, where countless months seem to go by in just few weeks; story of a dimension where the boundary between dream and reality is not so well defined.

Granite Cities in Siberia

Climbers Killian Fischhuber, Galina Terenteva and Robert Leistner, and guide Sergey Karpukhin traveled to Ulakhan-Sis Siberia for a Rock Climbing expedition: this remote location has had very few human visitors, not to mention climbers. The goal of this expedition was to explore this region and get to the top of towers. The team established numerous first ascents/climbs. The rock quality was less than ideal, but the setting, the endless number of unclimbed towers more than made up for it.

The Route of Gods

Via degli Dei, literally the Route of Gods, is a 130 km long route consisting of paved and gravel roads, stretches of asphalt, and windy trails passing through the Appennines. It starts in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna and arrives in Piazza Signoria in Florence, Italy: it retraces an ancient historical road, Military Flaminia, built 2000 years ago during the Roman period.
The itinerary can be divided in 5 or more legs, but ultratrail runners complete Via degli Dei in just 12 hours. We arrived at destination in four days, and proud.

Mountain lover: the photographer Paolo Sartori

Before meeting Paolo Sartori in person, I already had the chance to admire his photographic work. From his images, I immediately understood Paolo is a very committed person, with a strong passion for nature, and extremely good skills not just as a photographer,

An Icelandic journey into No Man’s Land

We live in a fast paced society, where the action of walking slows us down. Nature never hurries.
Film maker Davide Calafà, along with two friends, undertook a six days hike into the wild, carrying only what was strictly necessary to explore and document the incredible landscapes of Icelandic inland.

Bali: an extraordinary experience

And the answer might be: to travel, to fly away. You sure? You can cross the vast oceans on a jet plane, but your soul illness will still be on your side, aisle seated. During the flight it won’t bother you too much, and you can cheerfully watch a disaster movie, where all the crash scenes have been cut out.

Thailand: the land of smiling

My best friend and I wanted to make a trip together, to explore a different place, distant and exotic and mainly we wanted to disconnect from the usual city routine. No sooner said than done! In a few days we bought the flight ticket for Thailand, an ideal destination to get away from all and to regenerate ourselves.
We landed in Bangkok and suddenly we found ourselves thrown into a teeming capital of people, lights, sounds, fragrances, skyscrapers, taxi and tuk tuk everywhere around us. A city in continuous movement. With our backpacks we walked around the city for three days, remaining nicely hit by the incredible energy we could breathe.

Briançon: four days of pure pleasure

An another amazing weekend dedicated to climb has just ended. Direction Briançon, beautiful medieval town, Unesco heritage, located at 1500 mt above the sea level and place rich in crags. I went to France with a group of young guys excited for this great adventure which provided a four-day basic climbing course with Nicola Sartori as a mountain guide from Verona and his wife Claudia. A preparatory course to climb no longer in top rope, therefore with the rope already secured from above, but bringing it up from first. Adrenaline, anxiety, happiness and a bit of fear were almost palpable.
